Compare equipment before you commit

The eight slots cover a weapon, chest armour, gloves, trousers, boots, an amulet and two rings. Open a slot and search by name, effect, acquisition note or related quest. Expand Filters & sorting to narrow the collection by rarity, type or bonus. Every listed version keeps its own values; pieces with similar names are not automatically interchangeable.

A replacement preview shows what you gain and give up across the complete selected loadout. Changes only keeps the attribute breakdown focused; turn it off to see unchanged values too. Browsing, changing filters or cancelling leaves your saved build alone. Confirm the replacement to update it, and use Undo to return to the previous selection.

Selecting the same ring in both slots creates a conflict and counts that item once. A dash marks an unlisted value or an empty weapon slot; an unknown equipped weight keeps the total weight unknown. A listed zero remains zero.

Try in build on a weapon or armour entry brings that exact version here. Choose a compatible slot to preview it; arriving from the directory does not equip anything. The preview includes acquisition notes and relevant links, and your selected pieces remain accessible under Review.

Try a whole alternative in Swap Lab

Swap Lab compares two equipment sets within Build Planner. It starts with your current gear on both sides. Keep that reference, then replace one piece or several on the alternative side to see the combined change. You can also edit the reference or exchange both sides.

What you gain and What you give up group the listed attribute differences. Lower weight, resource costs and cooldowns count as improvements. A dash remains an unknown value. The comparison does not score a winner or simulate final combat damage, armour penalties, item-level scaling or conditional skill effects.

Use current build brings your latest equipment into both sides. Changed slots only helps you focus on the pieces you replaced, and Undo trial reverses your latest experiment. See the trade-off jumps to the results; Edit equipment takes you back to the slots. Use this loadout applies the alternative equipment while keeping your skill ranks and ability bar; the main planner's Undo restores the previous equipment.

A trial stays available while switching between Gear, Skills, Swap Lab and Review. Share comparison copies a link containing both equipment sets, so keep that link before leaving the page. Opening it lets you inspect the trial before applying it to your own build.

Match your abilities to your form

Set Current rank for skills you already know and Target rank for the ones you want. Required parent ranks are included automatically. Recording a manual or quest unlock only records access to a rank; it does not learn the rank or remove its training cost.

Choose the Active Abilities you intend to equip, then click Equip ability on each card. Raising a skill rank alone does not add it to the ability bar. In Review, 0 equipped and 4 slots total means you can equip up to four abilities but have not selected any yet. Use Choose abilities to browse that discipline; Change capacity opens its capacity perk.

Human and Vampire form have different availability, and utility skills that do not use a common slot stay separate from the ability bar. Changing form or lowering a rank keeps your choices visible and reports the conflicts you need to resolve.

Swordmastery, Witchcraft and Vampirism have separate slot capacities. Choose a rank in each relevant capacity skill to check that discipline. An unlisted base capacity stays unset instead of being treated as zero.

Sustained Focus sets Activation Charge capacity. Each ability is checked for a single use; charge costs across the whole bar are not added together. Learned or planned Tactical Mastery reduces each supported cost by one, to a minimum of one. A recorded unlock alone does not activate that reduction, and separate Health costs remain unchanged.

Open these ranks in Skill Planner to focus on training costs. The skills open as a shared preview there, keeping your separate Skill Planner draft available. Bring them back with Open in Build Planner, review the import and apply it when ready.

Understand the totals and their limits

Equipment values and skill rules use the reviewed PC build 25129649. Armour, selected equipment weight and listed modifiers are summed separately. Weapon damage stays at its listed minimum and maximum; these values are not a prediction of the damage dealt to an enemy.

Percentage modifiers are added as listed. Replacement differences use percentage points, or percentage points per second for a rate. Final combat results can also depend on skills, current Health, enemy defences and other conditions that are not simulated here.

Equipment weight covers these eight slots, not your full inventory. Medium and heavy armour penalties are separate from the armour-value total. Item-level scaling, temporary ability discounts, random charge refunds and conditional combat effects are not calculated.

Skill points to spend and training segments cover only ranks above your current levels. When all target ranks are already recorded as learned, both new totals are 0. Keep Current rank at 0 for an unlearned skill and raise Target rank to plan its cost. Some first ranks have no listed training cost; their unlock requirements still apply. Corruption checks unlock requirements; it does not set a pool of available skill points.

Discipline point gates may require extra, unassigned perk spending; its training time is included only after you choose those perks. Totals use listed rank prices, so past discounts can make the amount spent in your save different. Training segments are game time, not real-world seconds.

Keep several builds and share a snapshot

Your working build saves in this browser as you confirm equipment and change skills. Undo and Redo cover the entire loadout. Saved plans keeps up to six named builds, separately from the Skill Planner’s saved plans.

Share plan copies a link to the current equipment, skills and ability bar. Opening a shared build keeps the receiving browser’s existing draft intact. Choose Keep this plan to replace that draft, or Return to my draft to go back. Swap Lab has a separate Share comparison action for its two equipment sets.

Plans belong to this browser, not an account or a game save. Clearing browser data removes them. Keep a share link to move a build to another browser or device.
