THE FIELD GUIDE

Dawnwalker Infamy, Court Anger and All Nine Edicts

Infamy brings new Court edicts, including higher prices, checkpoints and curfew. A Boyar’s Anger is separate: that ruler’s activities open their confrontation. Check the Court panel before shopping or planning a route.

Choose activities for the Boyar you want to confront

Ambrus, Bakir and Xanthe each have an Anger track in the Court panel. Disrupt the activities associated with the ruler whose quest you want to open. An Unknown Activity is still waiting to be discovered through exploration.

The Uriashi village also has story consequences

The village encounter is part of Lacra’s route. A peaceful approach preserves vendors and the Elder’s request, so decide on those outcomes before treating it only as Court progress.

All nine edicts in order

Use the Court panel to match a new world restriction to an active edict. These effects use the Court and trade descriptions from PC build 25232147.

Why shop prices rise at Edicts III and VI

Edict III adds 15 percentage points to the buying multiplier. Edict VI adds another 15, bringing the total increase to 30%. The second increase is additive; it does not compound the first 15%.

Bewitching Influence rank 1 subtracts 15 percentage points from buying prices. The comparison below isolates those modifiers, before other item-specific price differences.

Item level and rounding also affect the quote

For an item with a level, the value is first calculated as base value × 1.0369^(level − 1) and rounded to a whole denarius. The buying or selling multiplier is then applied, followed by another rounding step. Items without a level skip the level-scaling step.

Bewitching Influence rank 2 changes selling prices to 115% of the level-adjusted selling value. It is a selling effect, separate from the rank 1 buying discount. Use the final shop quote when reserving money for manuals or ingredients.

When guards begin to recognise Coen

Edict IV makes patrol commanders recognise Coen. Edict VII extends recognition to all soldiers and introduces headhunters. A route that was straightforward at lower Infamy can become more dangerous after those changes.

Edict VIII strengthens soldiers, while Edict IX shuts Svartrau’s gates. Check the Court panel before a city visit and prepare for the current restrictions when choosing your route.

Prepare blood before curfew changes the streets

Edict V leaves fewer people outdoors between dusk and dawn. Pack a blood restorative before a night expedition, particularly if you expect to arrive at a quest conversation with a low Blood Reserve.

At one remaining vampiric health segment, Blood Craving can affect dialogue. A quickslot restorative lets you prepare for the conversation without depending on a convenient feeding target outside.

Does waiting reset Infamy?

Infamy changes through game events, rather than dropping simply because you wait for the next day. The recorded Infamy value has a ceiling of 900. Different events apply different changes, so a theft, fight and quest resolution should not be treated as interchangeable increments.

The time bar tracks your activity budget and deadlines; the Court tracks Infamy, Anger and active edicts. Check both before combining a Boyar activity with a timed quest or a planned shopping trip.
