THE FIELD GUIDE
Which Relic of a Saint Should You Use for Arbiter Armor?
Arbiter armour accepts five saint’s relics and consumes only the one you select. Use Saint’s Tibia or the Relic of St. Tobias to keep your amulet; compare the wearable options before handing one over.
Choose a relic you can spare
Start with the eligible items already in your inventory. Saint’s Tibia and Tobias’s preserved hand have no equipment slot, so using either leaves your amulet slot alone. You do not need to make a separate shopping trip if you already have a relic you can give up.
A spare amulet is another practical choice. If you still wear it, compare your replacement first: St. Tyna’s and St. Dasius’s relics affect magic damage, magic Health cost and charge restoration, so changing one can alter more than a single bonus.
- Check your inventory against the five relics below.
- Prefer an item you can spare; compare the equipment effects if you are considering an amulet.
- Read the exact item name in the hand-in dialogue and select only the relic you intend to lose.
Saint's Tibia
The Relic of St. Tobias
The Relic of St. DasiusWhat happens when you hand in the relic?
Take the chosen relic to Nareh, the Uriashi blacksmith on the western edge of Briar Sloughs. It supplies the holy-relic component for the Armour of the Arbiter and is consumed when used. You do not have to surrender every relic you own.
The four armour pieces can be crafted separately. Once all four are made, the quest’s combat ritual enhances the set; handing in this one component does not finish the entire set.
Which five relics can you use?
Any one of these items satisfies the relic component. The bonus columns show the effects you give up by sacrificing an amulet; a dash means the item has no bonus of that type. Saint’s Tibia and Tobias’s hand have no equipment slot. Figures are listed base values for game build 25129649, so also check your current item’s comparison screen.
The Lost Saint’s Relic is a wearable amulet. It is a different item from Tobias’s preserved hand, even though either can fulfil this component request.

Where to look if you need another relic
Choose a route that fits the areas or quests you have already reached. The convent offers Saint’s Tibia, Lacra’s swamp expedition has Tobias’s hand, and Howling Keep has St. Dasius’s amulet. Buying an amulet is an alternative when the relevant shop is available.
Saint’s Tibia and St. Tyna’s amulet at the convent
For Saint’s Tibia, search the corpse beneath the bridge connecting the library and infirmary at St. Tyna’s Convent. This is a separate pickup from St. Tyna’s wearable amulet.
The Relic of St. Tyna is part of Echoes of Silenced Bells. You must keep the amulet when resolving that quest if you want to equip it or offer it to the blacksmith later.
Tobias’s hand on Lacra’s swamp route
During The Night of Horrors with Lacra, finish examining the severed arm on the outdoor wisp trail before entering the crypt. That inspection gives you the Relic of St. Tobias. Use the pickup guide for the starting dialogue, landmarks and inspection steps.
St. Dasius’s relic at Howling Keep or Vicho’s shop
On Howling Keep’s second floor, find the room with repeated drawings on its walls, opposite the veranda with the first lantern and the dressmaker. Search the bench inside that room for St. Dasius’s relic.
Vicho can also sell the relic once his Witchcraft shop is available through A Study in Crimson. Check his current stock and asking price before buying an amulet solely to sacrifice it.
Collect the other three armour components
Keep the remaining named materials for the other pieces of the set. They are separate components, so an extra saint’s relic does not replace any of them.
- Large Lizard’s Moult makes the Bracers of the Arbiter.
- Silk Threads make the Boots of the Arbiter.
- A Flask of Quicksilver makes the Shin Guards of the Arbiter.
